Hi, I am Carson Ding. Thanks for visiting my site.

I hope you'll gain a lot from my writings. Through sharing my experience and knowledge, it is my wish that more people can understand the benefits of investing and saving their hard-earned money.

After graduating from a local university, I worked as a Marketing Officer for a multinational manufacturing company. After a couple of years, I felt that there is something lacking in myself. I wanted to learn something more. Yes, the job was great, I met and talked with many new people daily in my work. Still, I was searching for something.

Soon, I joined a world's leading electronics giant corporation as a Sales Executive. I enjoyed the work, meeting more people everyday, providing advices and training on the products I sold. It was great and I looked forward to having a long term career. Again, as destiny have it, I found that I was still looking for a missing piece in my learning.

The begin of the investment journey

Three years have passed, as if fated, I joined a big real estate firm selling secondary homes as well as providing advices and sales of foreign properties. I began to found something I like - investment. This was where I started my journey to becoming more investment savvy. Investment is not new to me, of course. During my early working years, I have already invested in Unit Trust through a close friend who was a Unit Trust consultant. I learned some basics from him about what this wonderful investment tool is.

Due to unseen events, although fortunately, I began my work with two world's leading banks. My roles included the sales of Unit Trust investment, mortgages and later on customer servicing for personal banking customers. These roles with the banks provided lots of opportunities to be involved more directly with learning the art of investment and how to be financially savvy. I have finally got the missing piece. I am happy that this was the thing that I was looking for - investment - and I have found it!

Helping you to become wealthier

I am always happy to give free advice and discuss on financial matters with my less investment-savvy colleagues at work. They have always encouraged me to provide this knowledge to benefit more people. Here I am, my friends.

The investment industry is very wide, and covers a lot of areas - money market, properties, unit trust, commodities, precious metals and more. I will only focus on the investment of unit trust, hence the setting up of unit-trust-investment.com. Though from time to time, I may dwell a bit into other investments, it's just to provide the readers alternative flavours in diversifying their investments.

My journey is an ongoing one, I am forever learning on investment. That is why you may find some contradiction of ideas between my earlier articles and the later ones. Where there are contradiction, please refer to the ideas in the newer articles. I hope this site also provides a place for an interaction with you and we can learn from each other to benefit more people.
